Now Hiring - Project Support Engineer & Sales Support in Downers Grove, IL

As Project Support Engineer & Sales Support at Delta Industries, you will be tasked with evaluating compressed air systems in the areas of: design and implementation, inefficiencies of current equipment, application and installation, faults and troubleshooting, and finding potentials for energy savings This will involve periodic travel throughout various industries of the Chicagoland area, such as Industrial Manufacturing, Food and Beverage processing, Automotive and Transportation sectors.

This position will interact with our Sales Department, and outside Mechanical and Engineering Contractors to provide our customers with the most ideal system for their continued success. You will also be tasked with assisting our sales people with technical data, on-site support, sourcing information from our vendors, quoting and managing opportunities. A good attitude and willingness to help build relationships for our current and future customer base with their issues is key to this position.

This position is an in-person role at our headquarters location in Downers Grove, IL.

Responsibilities:

• Creating and managing quotes
• Calling customers and scheduling site visits
• Configuring and reporting on equipment data
• Managing projects and seeing them through
• Other duties as required

Requirements:

• A technical Engineering degree (such as General Engineering, Engineering Technology, etc)
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Excellent computer skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Good planning skills
• Good organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
